ABOUT

David Naroth is an L.A. based composer with over a decade of experience bringing score to film, television, and games. His portfolio spans blockbuster films, Emmy-winning productions, and over 150+ episodes of network television.

David's musical journey began in his childhood, but his professional career launched after graduating from the SAE Miami for Sound Design. He initially established himself in production music for reality television shows including Vanderpump Rules and "The Real Housewives of Orange County," while simultaneously ghostwriting electronic music for prominent EDM artists.

In 2016, David ventured out to Los Angeles to pursue film scoring, where an internship at Hans Zimmer's prestigious Remote Control Productions proved pivotal. He soon began assisting and arranging for composer David Fleming, contributing to major productions including "Transformers: The Last Knight," "Blue Planet II," "X-Men: Dark Phoenix," and "The Lion King" before establishing himself as an independent composer.

His collaborative relationship with Fleming continues to flourish, writing additional music for the Emmy-winning score for "Jim Henson's Idea Man," Netflix's fantasy feature "Damsel" and creating custom sounds and instrumentation for "Hillbilly Elegy" and "South of Heaven". David has also worked extensively with Atli Örvarsson, composing additional music for over 150 episodes across NBC's "Chicago Fire" and CBS's "FBI: International," as well as with John Paesano on projects including Apple TV's "Truth Be Told" and Sky TV's "Devils." In 2024, he co-scored the multi-award-winning documentary "Searching For Amani," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Known for his versatility and attention to detail, David continues to pursue projects that challenge conventional scoring approaches.
